In anticipation of Zimbabwe’s next election, the Zimbabwe Election Support Network delved into voter registration documents, hoping to prevent widespread fraud. The results uncovered by the group were less than promising, showing that up to 1/3 of Zimbabwe’s 5.5 million registered voters were actually deceased. Read more about the group’s findings here.

Voice of Witness Education Program Students Present Their Work
Interested in learning more about Voice of Witness’ Education Program? There’s no better way to learn about how Voice of Witness is partnering with Facing History and Ourselves to bring socially relevant oral history curricula into Bay Area schools than to see the incredible work produced by the students in our pilot program!

In November, Peter Orner and Annie Holmes read from and discussed our newest title, HopeDeferred, at Stanford University. The talk was the inaugural public event for Stanford’s Human Well-Being and Human Rights Series and we were honored to be invited to help launch the series.
