In her article “Stories From Victims of Burma’s Military Regime: A Testament to the Value of Oral History,” Epoch Times writer Annie Wu discusses the work of Voice of Witness and our newest title, Nowhere to Be Home: Narratives of Burma’s Military Regime. Voice of Witness is delighted to announce a new teacher training workshop! Read on to learn more about how you can participate in AMPLIFYING UNHEARD VOICES: THE POWER OF THE STORY.

Voice of Witness is a nonprofit book series that empowers those most closely affected by contemporary social injustice. Using oral history as a foundation, the series depicts human rights crises around the world through the stories of the men and women who experience them. Voice of Witness was founded by author Dave Eggers and physician/human rights scholar Lola Vollen, and is the nonprofit division of McSweeney's Books.
